<h1>Snuffed Privacy Policy</h1>

<p>Snuffed ("the app") is an app from EERIE that counts the time since your last cigarette and shows the health milestones you reach. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, and no servers of ours. Everything happens on your own device.</p>

<h2>What we collect</h2>
<p>Nothing. Snuffed has no user accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising. We never see anything you enter or anything about your device.</p>

<h2>What the app stores on your device</h2>
<p>The app saves the date and time of your last cigarette, the date and time of each relapse you record, which trophies it has already shown you, the numbers you enter for the money-saved counter (cigarettes a day, pack size, pack price and currency), your light or dark theme, whether trophy notifications are on, and whether the usage line under the app's name is switched on. On iPhone, iPad and Mac it also keeps a small record of your trial or purchase so it can start without waiting for the App Store. All of this stays in the app's own storage on your device and never leaves it. Deleting the app deletes it, and Clear History in Settings removes your quit time, relapses and trophies at any time.</p>

<h2>Notifications</h2>
<p>On iPhone, iPad, Mac and Windows, if you allow notifications, the app books a reminder on your device for each trophy still to come. These are scheduled by your device itself; nothing is sent to us or to any server. You can turn them off in the app's Settings or in your device's notification settings.</p>

<h2>Apple Watch</h2>
<p>If you install the Snuffed watch app, your iPhone sends the date and time of your last cigarette to your watch over Apple's own device-to-device connection, and the watch keeps a copy so it can count while your iPhone is out of reach. Nothing else is shared, and nothing goes through us.</p>

<h2>Purchases</h2>
<p>On iPhone, iPad and Mac, the free trial and the one-time purchase are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details or your Apple ID. The app only asks the App Store whether the trial has started and whether the purchase has been made.</p>
<p>On Windows, Snuffed is obtained through the Microsoft Store, which handles any payment. We never see your payment details or your Microsoft account, and the Windows app itself makes no store checks.</p>

<h2>Network use</h2>
<p>Apart from the App Store checks above, the app works offline. The Windows version makes no network connections of its own. Links inside the app, such as "Made by EERIE", "Report Issue", "Discussions" and "Feature Request", and on Windows "Support This Project", open in your web browser only when you tap or click them, taking you to websites that operate under their own privacy policies.</p>

<h2>Health information</h2>
<p>The milestones in the app are general information from public health bodies and published studies, named under each one. They are not medical advice and the app does not collect or share any health data.</p>

<h2>Third parties</h2>
<p>Snuffed contains no third-party trackers, advertising SDKs, or analytics libraries.</p>

<h2>Children's privacy</h2>
<p>Snuffed does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.</p>

<h2>Changes to this policy</h2>
<p>If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.</p>
