<p>PageWise ("the app") is a desktop app from EERIE that opens PDF files, pulls out their text, and saves copies with chosen pages removed. This policy explains how the app handles your information.</p>

<h2>Summary</h2>
<p>PageWise does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything it works with stays on your own device.</p>

<h2>Information we collect</h2>
<p>None. PageWise has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking.</p>

<h2>Your PDF files</h2>
<p>The app only reads the PDF you open. It draws the page previews and pulls out the text on your own computer. It never changes the file you opened: removing pages always writes a new copy, and saving the text writes a new text file, both to a location you choose. Your files and their contents are never uploaded to us or to any server, and we have no access to them.</p>

<h2>Where your settings are stored</h2>
<p>Your preferences (the theme and whether the usage line is shown) and the window's size and position are saved on your own computer, in the app's own storage. They never leave your device.</p>

<h2>App usage line</h2>
<p>The line under the app's name can show how much processor, memory and disk space the app itself is using. These figures are measured on your computer, shown on screen and never sent anywhere.</p>

<h2>Network use</h2>
<p>PageWise works fully offline and does not send your files or their contents anywhere. Its fonts and everything it uses to draw PDF pages are built into the app, so it makes no network requests of its own. The only time it opens a connection is when you click a link inside the app, such as "Made by EERIE", "Report Issue", "Discussions", "Suggest Feature" or "Support This Project", which opens that web page in your default browser. Those are third-party websites that operate under their own privacy policies.</p>

<h2>Third parties</h2>
<p>PageWise contains no third-party trackers, advertising SDKs, or analytics libraries, and does not share data with third parties, because it collects none.</p>

<h2>Where you get the app</h2>
<p>If you get PageWise through the Microsoft Store, that platform may process data related to your download, purchase and licensing under its own privacy policy. This policy describes only what the PageWise app itself does.</p>

<h2>Children's privacy</h2>
<p>PageWise does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.</p>

<h2>Changes to this policy</h2>
<p>If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.</p>
