Headset Battery Widget ("the app") shows the battery level of your wireless headset in a small always-on-top window. It runs entirely on your own device. The app has no accounts, no servers, and does not collect any personal information.
Nothing. The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user profile.
The app reads the battery level reported by a connected wireless headset over USB. This reading is shown on screen and is never stored, never leaves your device, and is never sent to us or to anyone else.
To show the battery level of AirPods, the app listens for the battery information that nearby AirPods broadcast over Bluetooth. For example, it will show your AirPods at about 40% with the charging case at 80%. It reads the battery level only. It never connects to your AirPods, never plays or records audio, and no Bluetooth data is stored or transmitted anywhere.
Your settings, such as the low-battery alert threshold and your chosen theme, are stored locally on your device in the app's own storage folder. They never leave your device.
The free trial and the one-time unlock are processed by the platform's app store (for example, Apple's App Store). Payments are handled entirely by the store under its own privacy policy. The app never sees or stores your payment details.
The app itself does not connect to any server. Links inside the app (such as "Report Issue," "Discussions," and "Suggest Feature") open in your web browser only when you choose to click them, taking you to third-party websites that operate under their own privacy policies.
The app does not collect analytics, telemetry, usage data, or device information. It does not use advertising SDKs. It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or files.
If the app is obtained through the Apple App Store, Microsoft Store, or another platform, the respective platform may process data related to download, purchase, and licensing under their own policies. This policy describes only processing performed by the Headset Battery Widget app itself.
