Audio Mix Analyzer Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Audio Mix Analyzer ("the app") is a desktop app from EERIE that measures the frequency spectrum, loudness and stereo width of songs you open. The app has no accounts and no sign-in. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

What we collect

Nothing. Audio Mix Analyzer does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal information. It has no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising.

Your songs

Songs you open are read from your own computer so the app can play and measure them. They are never uploaded or copied anywhere. The app does not use your microphone.

Where your settings are stored

Your preferences (light or dark theme, which meters are shown, the layout, each meter's settings, saved presets, the audio output device, whether the usage line is shown, and the window size and position) are saved in a file on your own computer, in the app's own storage. They never leave your device, and we have no access to them.

Exported files

Snapshots, recordings, screenshots and frequency maps are written only to a file and location you choose. These files stay on your device and under your control.

App usage line

The bottom of the window can show how much processor and memory the app itself is using, and the size of its settings folder. These figures are measured on your computer, shown on screen and never sent anywhere.

Network use

Audio Mix Analyzer works fully offline and does not send your data anywhere. The only time it opens a connection is when you click a link inside the app, such as "Support This Project", "Report Issue", "Feedback" or "Suggest Feature", which opens that web page in your default browser. Those are third-party websites that operate under their own privacy policies.

Third parties

Audio Mix Analyzer contains no third-party trackers, advertising SDKs or analytics libraries, and does not share data with third parties, because it collects none.

Third-party distribution

If the app is obtained through the Microsoft Store or another platform, that platform may process data related to download, purchase and licensing under its own policy. This policy describes only what the Audio Mix Analyzer app itself does.

Children's privacy

Audio Mix Analyzer does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
