What does this tracker cover?

Every collectible in Shenmue: gacha capsules (Non-Sega, Excited Sega World, Port, QTE, Sonic, Vehicle, Virtua Fighter, Virtua Fighter Kids), traded capsule toys, arcade prizes, forklift race trophies, lucky dip prizes, slot machine rewards, move scrolls, and cassette tapes.

Is my progress saved?

Yes — your checkboxes auto-save in your browser's local storage. However, clearing cookies will erase it. Use the Export button to back up your progress as a JSON file you can import anytime.

Does this work for the Steam version?

Yes. On the Steam version (Shenmue I & II), the traded capsule toys are automatically added to your collection when you start the game. On Dreamcast without a cheat disc, you cannot obtain those traded capsules. The tracker works for both versions.

How do I get 100% completion?

Collect all gacha capsules from every machine type, win all arcade prizes by hitting the required scores, place in all five forklift race positions, hit jackpots on each slot machine denomination, buy all scrolls from Bunkado Antiques and find the hidden ones, and purchase all cassette tapes from the Tomato Store plus find the free ones.
